This is an introduction to audio programming for the iOS operating system, which runs on the iPhone, the iPod touch and, of course, the iPad. It doesn't aim to be comprehensive; it's intended for people who have a background in object oriented programming in C and/or C++, have some knowledge of Objective-C, and would like to extend their skills into iOS software development, with particular emphasis on audio. You should be broadly familiar with such concepts as objects, classes and methods to get the best out of this tutorial.
