I always judge a book by how long it takes me to read. This one took me a good three weeks. I found it flowing at times, then stagnant for a bit. I was very interested in the relationship that he had with Aurora. I do think that I would have preferred a womans point of view on this journey and maybe why I took to the character of Aurora. I don't think I myself desire to bike in the hills of tuscany, I would rather just map out different homes that are open to us, the tourist. Maybe that's why I had a difficult time with keeping up my desire to sit down with this book and finish it in a weekend.?
