* Treasured Dreams Series books 1-7 Together these excerpts make a wonderful story featuring Treasured Creations owner Holly and new comer web developer Dave but separately, although each are good moments, they are disappointing as they are just brief glimpse of pivotal moments in their lives in Whitefish, Montana. 1 An Unexpected Date (Treasured Dreams Book 1) by Susan Hatler 4 stars I purchased the short novella An Unexpected Date (Treasured Dreams Book 1) by Susan Hatler and this review was given freely. A very short excerpt of a short story. Struggling owner of Treasured Creations beading business, Holly meets new resident Dave at a craft festival and it is attraction at first sight. 2 An Unexpected Kiss (Treasured Dreams Book 2) by Susan Hatler 4 stars I purchased the short novella An Unexpected Kiss (Treasured Dreams Book 2) by Susan Hatler and this review was given freely. Sweet with vivid descriptions of the area and Holly and Dave's first date. Holly and Dave become closer as they share desert and their reasons for moving to Whitefish. 3 An Unexpected Love (Treasured Dreams Book 3) by Susan Hatler 3 stars I purchased the short novella An Unexpected Love (Treasured Dreams Book 3) by Susan Hatler and this review was given freely. Conflicted with a happy ending. Holly and Dave hike up the mountain for their weekly picnic while Holly tries to decide if she wants to take her business and their relationship to the next level. 4 An Unexpected Proposal (Treasured Dreams Book 4) by Susan Hatler 3 stars I purchased the short novella An Unexpected Proposal (Treasured Dreams Book 4) by Susan Hatler and this review was given freely. Relayed during their weekly hike and picnic, the ending is heartwarming. This excerpt features a recap of the last three excerpts plus pivotal points in both Dave's business and in Holly and Dave's relationship. 5 An Unexpected Wedding (Treasured Dreams Book 5) by Susan Hatler 4 stars I purchased the short novella An Unexpected Wedding (Treasured Dreams Book 5) by Susan Hatler and this review was given freely. This excerpt features a recap but then has a heart warming and sweet finish. Although if I was the bride, I would hate all the subterfuge and angst that led up to the surprise. 6 An Unexpected Joy (Treasured Dreams Book 6) by Susan Hatler 4 stars I purchased the short novella An Unexpected Joy (Treasured Dreams Book 6) by Susan Hatler and this review was given freely. The stress of house hunting, a new jewelry line, and trying to become pregnant have a partially happy ending which is revealed on this snowshoe hike. 7 An Unexpected Baby (Treasured Dreams Book 7) by Susan Hatler 4 stars I purchased the short novella An Unexpected Baby (Treasured Dreams Book 7) by Susan Hatler and this review was given freely. Contains another recap. The deliberation of new parents Holly and Dave to adopt or not, the continued stress of house hunting, and Holly's deliberating over hiring an employee make this a complex and interesting read.

An Unexpected Baby by Susan Hatler is the last "book" in the Treasured Dreams serial. Ms. Hatler's writing provides the rich emotional detail that I have come to expect in each "book" of this serial. This chapter in Holly and Dave's story focuses on where they are now. They have their new baby, Joe, they are looking at another house in Whitefish and they received a call regarding the adoption of a baby. Decisions will be made together based on their mutual love and support of each other. What those decisions are you will have to read the book to find out. I thought this was the perfect ending to their story. I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Treasured Dreams is over. Now that An Unexpected Baby is out, that means I've finished the series of stories that follows Holly and Dave through the early parts of their relationship, all while enjoying the beautiful town of Whitefish. This story was just as great as the others. Holly and Dave's characters continue to develop and grow. It's hard to leave them behind at this point, seven stories in. I'm sure I'd be happy to read more if Hatler were to write them. I feel with the way this left off (not as a cliff-hanger, don't worry), there's more enjoyment to be had from this couple's future. But at the same time, I'm content with this being the end. I think this was a good place to leave it. I'm sorry I don't have much more to say about this story. It, like the others, was short. There's not much to pick apart without giving everything away. I'm confident in saying that if you've enjoyed the series so far, this story won't be a disappointment. That's what we want in the end, anyway.

This is the last in a wonderful series. Short and sweet with so much love that bring together a baby and making a family. They have a lot to think about and a home to find. I will miss these short reads of a wonderful couple finding their way and loving each other through all of time. Ms. Hatler takes you through the life of a couple meeting, loving and starting a family. They have trying times but work it all out. This has been a very emotional read. If you haven’t read this series I recommend it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
