Confucius' teachings serve as the basis for the philosophy of Confucianism, which was the dominant philosophy of China during the Han Dynasty (206 B.C. - 220 A.D.).

About the Author

Confucius (K'ung-tzu, K'ung Fu-Zi, Kong Qiu, and others) (c.551 B.C. - c. 479 B.C.) was a Chinese philosopher, scholar, and thinker. Born to a noble family which had fallen on hard times in the Spring and Autumn Period, Confucius is the source for THE ANALECTS, a collection of sayings attributed to him. His teachings and philosophy served as the basis for Confucianism.

The book was really good except for the fact that it wasn't edited properly, making it confusing to read. Chapters start on the same page as the previous chapter and some texts are broken because of wrong indentation and spacing. Overall, I like the book :)
