Anarchy Missing: Alpha Case by JA Huss

Everyone wants justice.
That's what Assistant DA, Lulu Lightly, tells me. "Cathedral City needs you to set things right," she says. "To rid this place of corruption, once and for all."
I'd like to rid Lulu Lightly of her clothes. And maybe her moral superiority. But mostly her clothes.
"I want you to fight the good fight with me," she says.
Hell, yeah. I'm always up for a fight.
"We should stand up and be the voice of the people," she says.
Sure, I hear voices. Sometimes I even listen to them.
"Figure out what's good for the City and put it first," she says.
Oh, honey... what's good for the City is bad for the people. Trust me, I know. I'm Case Reider-insane Alpha, nefarious inventor, and I understand this town better than anyone.
Cathedral City needs me all right. Just not the way you think.
I'm not the justice you're looking for, Lulu Lightly.
I'm still the same villain you left behind.
Only now... there's something very, very wrong with me.

Case hasn't been "right" since the night they blew up the tower. Something has changed inside and he is struggling to control it... struggling to protect the city he loves. Seeing Lulu, the girl of his ideal night, return after years of silence, Case is unsettled. She is an assistant public prosecutor seeking answers to crimes committed and he is a possible conspirator with ties to the suspects, but their past love and promise of passion still draws them together. Can they be saved? This story was fierce with struggle and turmoil. I was so concerned about Case that it filled my dreams trying to find an answer, but I only had it partly right. This storyline is just crazy in a way, that with enough ties to current reality, it makes you really concerned for our tech focused world . I loved the SciFi twists and turns, but oh man will we need more guys like these to survive. These guys could give all other superheros a run for their money. I would love to see this series on the big screen!

Awwwww!!!! It was good to have our Superheroes back!! Things are about to change in Cathedral City. And our favorite superheroes are front and center. Another great read by JA Huss. She brings us to a whole new world filled with superheroes, villain's, talking holograms and adds in a whole lot of sexy. Are you ready for another crazy ride? I couldn't put this book down and I couldn't wait to see what happened next. I can't wait for the next book

J.A. Huss is a freaking romantic suspense superhero… or is it supervillain? Who the hell cares? The point is her books are utter genius! Anarchy Missing blew me away! The plot is beyond fascinating and the characters are complex, real, raw, and unapologetically flawed. They completely draw you into the story and make you believe in this dark and wonderfully intriguing world the author has created for us. I was hooked from page one and remained riveted to the very last word. This story is not one of black and white or good and bad. The meat of this story lives in the grey and requires you to open your mind a bit and think outside of the box. Do this and you will discover a compelling and provocative spine-tingling romance that you will not want to put down. This is a book that I would highly recommend and I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series. *I was given an ARC of this book by the author and voluntarily chose to review. All opinions are my own.

Super Sexy, Somewhat Villainous Superheroes Anarchy Missing is the second installment in author J.A. Huss’ SuperAlpha Series. Continuing the story of the three men who survived their torturous stay at Prodigy School, Anarchy Missing is twice as hot and equally suspenseful as book 1, Anarchy Found. Case Reider is the quiet romantic juxtaposed to Lincoln Wade’s bad-boy scientist and Thomas Brooke’s controlling titan-of-industry. Just like Molly Masters returned from Lincoln’s past, Louise (Lulu) Lightly returns from Case’s. I loved Lulu! She is strong, passionate and intelligent. She is one tenacious Assistant District Attorney. I adored Case and Lulu’s backstory, and I hunger for more details. Why did Case agree to escort her to her cotillion? Why did Lulu leave in such a hurry and with no further communication to the boy with whom she was obviously infatuated? While Lincoln can be compared to Batman and Case compared to Ironman, neither Alpha is a typical do-gooder superhero. They are more twisted and edgy. They’re motivated more by revenge than by justice. Even though justice will likely be served, the Alphas will undoubtedly reap more benefits than accolades. Is the villainous Blue Boar to blame for the current plight in Cathedral City, or is it a force much closer to home? Can Lulu Lightly open her eyes and heart to the truth, or will she continue to narrowly define good and evil? Is her boss, Randy—who eagerly keeps her hopped up on the town’s increasingly popular chain coffee—as corrupt as the judges and police chief, or is he just oblivious to their misdeeds? I highly recommend you let Ms. Huss take you on an action-packed sci-fi adventure filled with sexy science and gadgets and leave you wondering whether the Alphas are super-villains or superheroes.

4.5 Stars! First off, this cover is amazing! I would buy this book just for that cover alone. Great art work! 2nd, This book series NEEDS to be made into a tv series. HBO for sure. There is no way the content could go on any other channel, if you now what I mean. The imagery just from the writing alone is spectacular. And the team...Lincoln, Case and Thomas, I can't decide who I like more. J.A. Huss has a talent for writing A-hole Alphas and making me love them. There is nothing better than a hero who's good, but oh so bad! In Anarchy Missing, we get Case and Lulu's story. Ever since the ultimate showdown in book 1, Case has been feeling off. He knows there is something wrong with him but he's afraid he's going crazy. Sheila, Lincoln's AI program, keeps running tests and not finding anything wrong with him. You know something big is about to go down but because of how good this author is, I never know what to expect. The endings of her books get me every time! What I wouldn't give for such an imagination as this author. Bring on Thomas' story! ARC provided by author.
