I am a high school sophomore and I chose this book for my research project. I knew very little about Ancient Egypt, however this book answered most of my questions. The authors have strong and depending information about Ancient Egypt and their interesting culture. The authors would get side tracked by telling the readers stories about Egyptian Gods. These stories are very interesting, however I just wanted to know more about Cleopatra and Tutankhamen. Brier and Hobbs both put hard work into this book because they included detailed information and pictures that described the stories to the readers. The book went into a lot of details when it came to how Egyptians built homes and the way their mummification system started and ended. This book had a lot of specific information that it felt that you were there in Egypt experiencing the lifestyles of the Egyptians. The book contained stories and myths about the gods and the Egyptian people. This book is a very helpful source and I recommend it.
