As one who travels to the Vermont Country Store a couple of times each year I have a special kinship with this series... This is the story of Hudson who has been a special character (to me) since the series began... Wanted to kick him several times for his unrequited love for Megan who runs the local diner with her sister... But, their story turned out, like all the rest, to be a terrific love story and introduced us to new characters as well as including all the old characters... I am always delighted to see Fred (the resident moose) reappear in each story... Can truly envision his place in the town.

This book was good but Megan reallly got on my nerves after awhile. Also it was like it was written as a book about sex with a few other things thrown in as a afterthought to keep us happy. I wish the sex scenes werent so long and the pace of the book moved along a bit faster.

All of her leading man characters are total fantasy. She totally knows how to take 'fiction' to a whole new level. It's a cute series that I completely recommend if you're looking for an evening of mindless reading. However, if predictible, shallow plots without any real conflict aren't your thing, you may look elsewhere.

What's NOT to love about this story. I love this series, the brothers, the family, sisters. They make me laugh, and swoon, I can't stop reading.

I absolutely love this loud and boisterous Abbott family! Marie Force does it again with her brilliantly crafted characters set in this quaint Vermont town. Hunter has loved Megan from afar and now that he has a chance with her, he goes full throttle to show her how much he cares and that he is NEVER going to leave her side, despite Megan’s attempts to keep him at arm’s length. I always love revisiting the Green Mountain series because I fell in love with this big family from the beginning! Not to mention the book titles are the titles of The Beatles’ songs and I’m a HUGE fan! I also love the references and the fact that the patriarch, Lincoln, is a huge Beatles fan as well. What I enjoyed about the book was that we got to check in on previous couples Nolan and Hannah and Will and Cameron. We also get to see more of the other family members and a couple very funny scenes with Fred, the town moose. This series always feels like home to me and I love every chance to get back into the Abbotts’ storylines. What I didn’t like about the story was (view spoiler) Overall, I thought it was a great read and I can’t wait to find out whose book will be next! This is a hilarious and beautiful series that will make you laugh, tug at your heartstrings and will having you believing that there is such a thing as happily ever after. ***I was gifted a paperback ARC in exchange for an honest review. All conclusions reached are my own.

And I Love Here is the fourth installment in Marie Force's Green Mountain series and once again takes  you into the world of those oh so hot Abbott brothers.  This time we get to read Hunter's and Megan's story.  Hunter is the oldest of the Abbott clan and manages the family business.  Where the other brothers are all rugged and outdoorsy, Hunter looks like he stepped off the cover of GQ Magazine.  Mind you, he still knows how to get all outdoorsy and rugged with his brothers in their all Alpha male tribe, and it is quite a breathtaking experience when you get them all together.  We met Megan in the previous novels, and I didn't care for her too much, but once I got to know her and find out about her background, I understood where she was coming from.  She is also very repentant about her past behavior.   Hunter is all-in when it comes to his relationship with Megan.  He's had a thing for her for years, and when the opportunity arises to act upon his feelings, he jumps in with both feet.  Megan's issues have caused her to have commitment phobia, but Hunter is very patient with her and very understanding, even when circumstances and situations occur that get quite intense.  The chemistry between Megan and Hunter is off the charts hot, as are the steamy scenes between them.  True to Abbott form, Hunter is very dominant in bed, knows what he wants, and makes his Alpha male tendencies very clear to Megan, who is quite okay with his dominance in that department.   I love the fact that we get to see what is going on with all the characters from the previous novels, as well as get to know those in the family whose stories are yet to come, and of course, Fred the Moose makes his appearance as well, and you can't help but love old Fred.  And I Love her is another great installment in this series and if you are a contemporary romance fan, this is one you will want to add to your to-be-read list.
