My Rating: 4.5 And Then I Found Out The Truth was a fantastic follow-up to And Then Everything Unraveled. It had the same amount of mystery, action and originality. Usually I don't know what to expect from sequels. In spite of that, I was not disappointed. I was just as eager to unravel T.K.'s disappearance, as I was to determine the truth. Delia continued to blow me away with her spontaneity and constant search for her mother. Quinn, the evident partner in crime, started making an impression on Delia. He was the perfect person to ask for help. Eventually, Sturman revealed the secrets and lies once Delia ended up in South America. I ended up figuring out some of the outcome, however a few of the revelations were indeed surprising. I'm not sure if there will be a third book in the series since the ending seemed to wrap up Delia's journey. Still, if a book three surfaces I am certain I'll immerse myself in another one of Delia and Quinn's adventures. These two books left me feeling impressed and I recommend you add them both on your radar!

And Then I Found Out the Truth picks up right where the first book left off. It does a great job at briefly catching you up on all the details as it let's the story pick up. The characters I came to love were just as great as before. Delia is still a strong protagonist that never gives up. She is very easy to like and has a fun voice to read along with. I love her funny descriptions of her family, especially on her emotionless cousins. I got just what I wanted in this one, more Quinn! Delia and Quinn are very sweet together, but they also have to work on their new found relationship. I enjoyed that everything didn't go all easy-peasy for them. Delia's Aunt Charley continues to be one of the funnest characters I have read about. She is crazy and erratic and loves ice cream as much as I do. I just love her! The plot was filled with a great mixture of action and humor that kept me entertained. There was also a lot of mystery left with trying to find who is responsible for T.K.'s disappearance. The ending was sugary sweet and had me putting the book down with a smile on my face. I didn't love it as much as it's prequel. I think that might only be because how much I loved first getting to know and falling in love with these characters. Sturman has a talent for bringing to life diverse and intriguing characters. But I still really enjoyed jumping back into Delia's life, and seeing all the pieces of the puzzle come together. I recommend both books in this series to anyone looking for a fun YA read with enjoyable characters. It's a perfect summer read!

Cordelia Truesdale's mother, T.K., is in hiding trying to stay alive with her new boyfriend. Meanwhile, Delia is trying hard to focus on a way to bring down the bad guys, get her mother home, go to school and not fail her exams, figure out why her kinda-boyfriend Quinn is acting strange and not calling her, and if Quinn's father is really one of the bad guys. Just a normal day in the life of a teenager. And Then I Found Out The Truth, finally gives the readers the answers they've been waiting for, though I felt the ending was a little anti-climatic. The sequal to And Then Everything Unraveled has more action, adventure, humor, and romance. It was an engaging read, although I felt the ending was a bit rushed and could have been wrapped up better, but overall it was a great book.
