This was easily one of the worst books that I have ever read. I bought it because it was on special discount through Book Bub. It was just terrible. Poorly written, predictable, and the ending was absolutely ridiculous. It is sad that stuff like this can actually get published.

While the story itself was great, I found the extreme number of typos to be distracting. At times, it made the book confusing- especially when dates were incorrect or a random quotation mark was placed in a non-dialogue sentence.Other than this, the book was riveting. I'm not a huge fan of mystery books, but I couldn't put this one down! I actually ended up reading it in one day. The writing was intense and quick-paced. I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys thrillers and needs a quick book to read- I found it great for reading in between class texts. However, if you find that you're a stickler for grammar rules and correct spelling, you may get a little annoyed!

3.5 Stars: Very good story with interesting plot. Unnecessary sexual and racial references throughout. Ending was very neat and tidy.

To go throw what these parents been through would have anyone on the edge. Just when you think all is over, something else comes along and adds to the suspense. Very wonderful book to read I couldn't put it down at times. Looking forward to reading more work from Patricia Gussin.

Triplet nine year old girls are kidnapped. Mom is a psychiatrist, and Dad is a former Yankee baseball player. THere are several suspects who might have some resentment toward the parents. The FBI is involved. THe kidnappers seem quite amateurish, but manage to elude a number of people. This book would be for an adventure reader, who doesn't require a lot of action. I would not bother to read any other books by this author, and I certainly would not recommend this for book club discussions. There is one character who is a pedophile, and I felt the ugly part of that was not necessary.

Every parents nightmare comes true in this book. It revolves around the kidnapping of two children. You see the emotions that impact this family as a result. I liked it. Good read.

I have to say that this book was lacking alot of reality stuff. I don't know if Ms. Patricia was trying to get a certain audience for her book, but it was just an ok book to read, you know, one of those books that if you need to read something at the beach you can. I didn't like her style of writing. One minute I was reading about something, and the next paragraph I was in another scene. I don't like that type of reading.

This was one of the best "nook books" I have read, held my attention, could hardly put it down. If you like a fast paced mystery, you will like this.
