Angel Falls by Kristin Hannah

When Mikaela Campbell, beloved wife and mother of two, falls into a coma, it is up to her husband, Liam, to hold the family together, to care for their grieving, frightened children. Day after day, he sits by her bedside, telling stories of the precious life they have built, hoping, always hoping, that she will wake up. Then he discovers evidence of her secret past: a hidden first marriage to Julian True, a man no woman could resist . . . or forget. Desperate to bring Mikaela back at any cost, Liam turns to the one person who could make her respond— and who could take her out of his arms forever.

During the reading of this book, I noticed the tears that were falling from my eyes. The lengths that Liam went to help his wife are truly touching. If you want to read a book about the deep love a man feels for his wife...this is the book for you!!

Last night I went to a grocery store and I went to the book/magazine section. Angel Falls caught my eye, I picked up the back of the book and read it. It seemed interesting so I read a little bit from the book. I was interested, so I bought it and took it home. I started reading from the beginning at about 8:30 (at night), and I read on until 1 o'clock in the morning. I couldn't put it down for some reason! I woke up, and picked it up again. I read this novel in less than 24 hours because I couldn't put it down...It was an amazing book and I loved it. It was sad, and the author is a great writer. I'd reccomend this book.

This was 3rd book I've read by this author and will probably not be the last, although not my favorite. A lot of different ways to look at love and types of love. A bit too drawn out for me and a tad unbelievable. The kids are almost too good, although I am sure everyone wishes their children wewe that good. Liam is just about perfect. It was just "too" for me. I am not sure why the topic of where the barrels or bars placement for the horse jumping were of such significance to Bret. It was brought up twice but nothing ever came of it. Still a good story I finished just not my 1st recommendation for this author.

I love this book, it shows how precious the right kind of love is and what can happen in a blink of an eye. How one thing can effect others. Great read, but keep the tissues close by.

This was a great story that I enjoyed very much. I loved the characters, especially the strength if Liam and the sacrifice he made possibly losing his wife to another man. It took a lot of strength for Liam to risk losing his wife in order to hopefully bring her out of her coma. There were family dynamics, children's hurt feelings, and secrets from the past. A good, heartwarming story.

This book, while not the best, it definitely was still pretty good. The plot made me not want to put it down, while the characters formed a bond with me. Each character held its own, unique, characteristics. Everything was aligned perfectly, but it could have been a bit more detailed at parts, saving time for explain where they were later on in the story. Otherwise, all in all, it was a very great book and would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking peace and passion throughout the plot.
