While touring Ireland, Richard F. Quinn sensed the great struggle that went on there for so long and his travels inspired him to write about his Irish ancestry. He had a thirty-one year career with AT&T and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts. He has been married to his wife Diane for thirty-nine years and has three children and seven grandchildren. He lives in Florence, Massachusetts.
