Overview

Everyone knows the term "angel," but few people can confidently describe what an angel actually is. This thoroughly researched, inspirational work tackles this issue by examining the fascinating world of angels.

Author and Bible teacher John William Swank delves into the supernatural realm and asks some fundamental questions:

  • What is an angel?
  • Where are angels?
  • How do angels impact our lives?
  • What's the historic and practical significance of angels?

Rooted in biblical scripture and research, Swank reveals all the insights the Word of God has to offer on these little-understood spiritual creatures.

As easy to read as a novel but as informative as a textbook, Angels uses firsthand testimonials and the Bible to reveal the secrets of these celestial beings.

Follow Swank as he debunks common religious misconceptions, warns against the counterfeit promises of Satan, and shows you how angels positively impact your day-to-day life.

Angels is a must-read for all Christians looking to expand the understanding of their faith and live more completely through God's guidance.

He later enlisted and spent four years in the US Navy. Shortly after he returned home, he became a Sunday school teacher and lay speaker.

When Swank and his family moved to Florida in 1973, he began attending a Southern Baptist church, where he served as Sunday school department director, lay leader, outreach director, and an interfaith director. He became a deacon in 1982.

Swank's works include Wolves in Sheep's Clothing, an examination of false religions, and 1984's All Things New!, which is currently on its third printing.
