Angels Without Wings by Chris Smith

Hey, Don't Forget the Sunscreen helps parents to gently instruct children on the grave dangers of unprotected sun exposure while stressing the importance of vitamin D. Author Kim Kennedy encourages families to take sun exposure seriously in order to avoid the consequences that so many have tragically suffered. She hopes that providing children with the knowledge needed for ultraviolet ray protection will better equip future generations of parents and children to be more proactive and prepared.

Teach your children to effectively incorporate vitamin D into their diets, dress appropriately for sun exposure, and take other preventative measures to preserve the health of their skin. Hey, Don't Forget the Sunscreen would serve as a great edition to any family's home or an elementary school's library.

Reviewed by Rabia Tanveer for Readers' Favorite “Angles without Wings” is the battle of Angels against Lucifer and his demons. Troy Decker has a powerful scepter waiting for him, but before he can get it he has to prove himself. Meanwhile, Lucifer is gaining power and Kyle Downey, once Troy’s parents’ friend, has turned evil and now stands between Troy and the scepter which can end the war. What must Troy do to save us all? The balance of the war rests on Troy’s shoulders and he must find his inner strength to conquer his fears and save his fellow angels from the wrath of Evil.  “Angels without Wings” by Chris Smith is a wonderful novel for fans of fantasy. It is a book that will stay etched in your mind for a very long time. Troy’s journey is honest and you find yourself lost in his ways and you will end up praying for his triumph. All in all, a wonderful novel which is just as enlightening as it is entertaining. You will be lost in his story, and will start it again as soon as you are finished with it.

Reviewed by Trisha Dawn Daffon for Readers' Favorite  Troy Decker is unlike any other teenager. He is a son of two angels who were quite popular back in their days. However, life still holds some frustrations for him as he struggles to become the angel he wants to be. Furthermore, he has no one to share his secret world with as his best friends are human and are not allowed to know. All the while this is happening, strange occurrences have started to unfold and are already catching the attention of all the angels in the vicinity. After a series of unfortunate events, things start to change in Troy's life. For once, things are starting to change for good. It doesn't last very long though when events start to unravel and the greatest revelation is yet to be revealed.  I am head over heels in love with this book. The moment I started reading it, I got hooked. I sat there and tried to take it all in. The story is a breath of fresh air. It has taken a different perspective of how angels become who they are. It is written superbly. There is not a dull moment and at every event, there is a surprise or a twist waiting. Not one event overshadows another. Everything that happens works in harmony and creates an effective story. And the characters are very likable, the true stars of the story. All in all, "Angel without Wings" is very exhilarating. Now I'm just waiting for the second installment. I believe "Angel without Wings" would go far.
