About the Author

Erin Lockwood grew up in Castro Valley, California and attended the University of Oregon, where she graduated in 2003 with a degree in journalism. From there she moved to Denver and spent the next seven years searching for the love of her life and building the family of her dreams.

It wasn’t long until, with children starting preschool and more time on her hands, Erin refocused on her career, beginning with a successful entry into the world of residential real estate as a Realtor. Free time was spent reading book after book (and binge-watching the subsequent films) in the New Adult genre. Feeling hopelessly in love with her husband, she wrote him a short story leading up to their fifth wedding anniversary. That’s when she discovered her tireless passion to share her experience of falling in love through fictional characters. That story evolved into the first novel in the Angles trilogy.

Erin still lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband, Phil, and their three children.

Intertwined Love What an amazing debut novel! This story was very well written, I was pulled in from the very beginning and cannot wait for more from Erin. I want to hear more about the twists and turns between Cara, Sam and Teddy! The ongoing feud between Sam and Teddy pulls you in. It's obvious that Sam and Cara have an intensely strong bond, but can the friendship between Teddy and Cara withstand her new relationship with Sam. I'm excitedly waiting for book 2 and hoping it won't take too long to be published! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book via Xpress Book Tours in exchange for an honest blog tour review.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I totally loved this book! It was the perfect afternoon read. And yes – I meant that as singular as I did indeed read this book in just one afternoon sitting lol. I could not put it down! I was held captive from the first page to the very last page. Not many books can do that and I am very surprised to find that this was Mrs. Lockwood’s first book as the writing was truly superb! Further proof U of O has an excellent journalism program lol! This book was such a fun, exciting, intriguing, fascinating read that took you on a real life love story. Even though this book is a contemporary romance book – it is no cookie cutter love story. This love story is messy, honest, realistic, and relatable. This book follows Caralee and her friends on an interweaving web of love, life, friendships, understanding, vulnerability, and growing up. Caralee meets Sam. He is sexy, handsome, mysterious and a total gentleman. There is one problem though – Jason, Caralee’s boyfriend. Teddy is Caralee’s best friend. He is recently married to Anne. There is one problem though – he’s in love with Caralee. This book is not your average love story triangle – there are multiple angles involved! This book is full of drama, love, excitement, and is just down right entertaining! The main and supporting characters were likable, relatable, and well described. The writing style is fluid, well developed, and at a steady pace. There are twists and turns and unexpected moments. I would absolutely recommend this book as it was such a fun, exciting, intriguing, fascinating read! Fair warning – don’t make any other plans because once you start reading this book you won’t be able to stop! I am very excited to follow Mrs. Lockwood’s career and read the next book in this series! Definitely check out this book – you won’t be disappointed! **Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book and have voluntarily provided an honest, and unbiased review in accordance with FTC regulations.**

This was a really nice, interesting story and I was pleased to have taken the chance on purchasing it. The story is really well-written and easy-to-read, and the descriptive passage is excellent, so you really feel like you can see the characters and settings in your mind as you read. I liked how the novel is told from the perspective of the main character, through their eyes, as I find this writing style really helps you to get to know the characters well, and gives the storyline a sense of depth and emotion. The story is a romance, drama novel, and is perfect for readers who love well-written women’s literature that can easily be read over a weekend or while on vacation. I highly recommend this novel, and I am definitely interested in reading more of this author’s work.
