Not only is this book hilarious, it has helped to show people at my work why correct word usage is important.

No matter how many times I read this book, I still laugh out loud. Somehow the malapropisms and other language confusions collected in this first-of-many books hits a part of the brain that keeps finding them funny! On a more serious level, it helps students understand some mechanisms of language they take for granted.

This is the funniest book I have ever read. Every year or so I pick it up to read again to add some chuckles to my life and to improve my health. Absolutely hilarious. Over the years, I have bought at least 20 copies to give to friends. It is a must read book!!!

This book is so funny. I, got a preview of the book when actors from a traveling Shakespeare group came to my school and read the history bloopers part, and I couldn't get enough of it later on. I haven't read the first two books but if they are as good as this one then pack a box of kleenex because you will be laughing so hard that you'll start crying.

Love this book and have given it to many friends over the years. Every so often, I read it again, for the sheer joy of laughing so hard I can't breathe.

I read this book for the first time in 1990. Personally, no library is complete without a copy. Professionally, being a Registered Nurse, I feel the three best healers are music, hugs, & laughter. The first person to have said, "Laughter is the best medicine" could not have been more truthful. I have purchased many copies to give to others who were ill & strongly recommend this to everyone.

Some of the anguished English was stale, seemed like humor from twenty years ago. Sometimes felt insulting, may sell this back to BN and trade up to something more fun.
