An Archangel agrees to an oath, for life. But love has a way of blinding you either from the truth, or from it all. Enyo has a request to make to the Archangel of Death, Azrael. Unable to spot why either of them are attracted, they embark on a journey to clear Enyo’s name, and put her father to justice. In the mist of collaborating with Zerachiel, Zeus forgets one small detail. He knows more than anyone else does, so will he be the first to die? Once Zerachiel is discovered, Azrael is faced with many decisions. One would think a fallen angel proves purposeless to heaven. It’s possible to be cast out for a reason. But would it be Enyo?

This is definitely a book worth checking out. The author has taken the time to bring old mythology in a modern setting. She controls the POV for both MC's very well, and contrasts events one on to the other, leaving you breathless and guessing. The idea of a rule following angel and an aimlessly beautiful goddess falling in love adds to the tension before and action sequences. You'll love Book One, Acts of the Fallen.
