I loved the topic of this book. My two favorite things are forensics and wildlife, and here these two worlds collide! That being said, I feel the book was rather poorly written. I often felt that I was reading a middle school science report. While the facts open your eyes to a whole new world of illicit behaviors, their presentation is less than impressive. If this topic interests you I would still reccomend reading it, but don't set your expectations too high.

A book that tells facts and doesn't connect to them to her story very well, which is also boring. She jumps around to random topics frequently as well. Most of the entire book is facts that could have been Googled and they're repeated over and over. The writing quality is about what I expect of an average 13 year old. I suggest to not read this book
