Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
With his crayon Harold can go anywhere and do anything! In this offering, Harold goes on an adventure to learn more about animals. He draws an elephant, but when he squirts it with water, the elephant glares. Next, he sets out on a desert with a camel and to get some relief from the heat, he creates an oasis. But that isn't enough, so he decides to go to the top of a snow-covered hill and have some fun with the penguins. To warm up again, Harold creates a jungle where he and the monkeys have a swinging good time. While all of this time with the animals was fun, Harold is pretty tuckered out so he takes himself home to bed. The pictures have the look of computer-generated art and there is a blurb on the front cover reminding kids to watch Harold on HBO Family. The back cover has a note to parents with suggestions to help their kids to learn to read. Based on a teleplay by Don Gillies. 2002, HarperCollins,
