When I downloaded this collection, I was quite pleased with the quality of the transfer into the epub format. However, a few things should be noted. 1. This collection does not include Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Windy Poplars, or Anne of Ingleside. I'm not sure why they left out the first book in the series, but since it is easy to find a good free edition, I'm not complaining. The later two books--Windy Poplars & Ingleside--are both still in copyright as they were written significantly later than the other books in the series. That's why they're not available as ebooks yet. 2. This edition does contain both Chronicles of Avonlea and Further Chronicles of Avonlea. 3. It does have an active table of contents that allows you to move from book to book within the series, but you cannot jump from chapter to chapter within the books. Some may find these flaws annoying; if that is the case, I suggest that you download individual ebooks for each book in the series. Personally, I'm just happy to have the words in a clear and readable format, so I'll ignore the other problems.

Iv read the whole collection twice ( you heard me, all 8 of them... twice!) I adore anne ( spelled with an e!) I just love the whole story of her life, a never let go classic for sure! For those who are confused the " spelled with an e " bit is an inside joke for those eho read it... get in on the joke, read it! Ps, im 14, just proof that you can be young, middle aged or old and never get tired of it... i never do!

This was a wonderful and charming book. I enjoyed reading it a lot. It is a bit on the humorous side and has some beautiful parts! This is a wonderful book and is worth what you are paying.

I enjoyed getting a clean copy of the Anne books all in one place. However, it is missing "Anne of Windy Poplars" and "Anne of Ingleside". It still is definitely worth far more than the remarkably small price I paid for it, though.

AMAZING! How a young girl named Anne comes to be adopted by the owners of green gables and how at first no one likes her but through out the story she comes to charm every soul she meets. With rough edges here there Anne learns how to behave .

I loved this book I have read it so many times. It¿s interesting to see how this young girl goes through so many things but still seems to find happiness were ever she goes. Anne of Green Gables is about a 13 year old orphan who has gone through so many families and no family wants her. A young man names Mathew goes to the orphanage to pick up a 13 year old boy and there was a mix up instead of a boy he picked up Anne. Anne is a very talkative girl while Mathew is a very quiet and self kept man. Mathew had a wife Marilla. He takes Anne home and Marilla is not happy she wanted a boy to help her husband on the farm, but as she sees Anne sad she does not give her back to the orphanage. Later on in the book Anne goes to school makes lot of friends and saves a 6 year old life. All Anne wanted was to be loved and have a place to call home and she found it with Mathew and Marilla.

Great books. So far I've enjoyed them. There is just one catch.....it is missing Anne of Windy Poplars (#4) and Anne of Ingleside (#6). Other than that it is a GREAT BOOK and only took me a week or so to finish 4 books!!!!!!

Missing two essential books, Anne of Windy Poplars, and Anne of Ingleside. Crucial! However, it includes the two Chronicles of Avonlea, so you decide if it is worth it.

I read anne of green gables every year. This version does not include every book so if you purchase you will need to buy a few of the others too. But its great that it has some of l.m. montgomerys other works too. That being said in this "nook book" there have been a few places where it seems to skip a part or a sentance is worded wrong so if you are not familiar with the story you may be confused. But these were few and far between. I love being able to have the wit and wisdom of anne at my fingertips.
