About the Author

Willee is as quirky as the characters he creates. He writes under several pennames on a wide varitey of subjects. He likes to keep in shape by jogging his memory and jumping to conclusions. While he doesn't practice yoga Willee does like to stay limber by stretching the truth.

When he's not slaving over a hot computer while cackling like a mad man, you will often find him outdoors with one or more of his four legged furry friends. He's kind of a rambling guy sometimes found in the Southwest and other times along one of the coasts. Most of the time he's in the United States, but liable to pop up just about anywhere when you least expect.

Willee is not a serious person.

I enjoyed the characters, storyline, and humor in this story. It is really a fun read. The only reason I rated it a 4 was because the dialogue seemed forced at times with a lot of he says..... she says.... conversations. I will continue this series.

This is the first book in the Annie McCauley series that is billed as a romantic comedy mystery. It's a hilarious book and I found myself laughing out loud at the crazy things that happen to Annie and her friends. She is one of those people that things happen to and she also has an enemy who is very good at dirty tricks. She's from a trailer park in a small town in West Texas but she's moved to Queens New York where she is trying to be a high fashion model in Manhattan. She wants to work for Tomi Di Ponti, the most handsome and eligible CEO in the city who also owns his own fashion and cosmetics company. Kidnappings, hot air balloons, toilet sets and horses make one chapter after another so funny I couldn't stop reading. She has a best friend named, Luis, who is five feet tall and a makeup artist., Her parents are a scream when they talk to her on the phone. It reminded me of a lot of couples I've known. One of the things I like about the main character is that even though she's beautiful, she still has to struggle and overcome her own short comings such as her hot temper and lack of life experience. She also has to deal with Luther Grolsch, a huge ex special forces guy that she loves and hates at the same time. There are a total of four books in the series so far and I intend to read them all. The author says he's writing more and I can't wait. I hope it will be a long series like Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series.
