Sarah and Sunny – the Day sisters – identical twins, a dazzling mirror image. It was Sunny who had all the talent and success as a singer. Sarah preferred to work behind the scenes as her sister’s tour assistant. But Sarah is ready to stop touring and make a life of her own. When Sunny commits to a publicity stunt of riding on a trail ride, she begs her sister to take her place, and Sarah reluctantly agrees. Sarah loves horses, and it sounds like a fun adventure.
How could Sarah know that the moment she landed in Houston bewigged, made-up, dressed in Sunny’s typical over-the-top country siren’s costume, a craggy knight in Levi’s and a cowboy hat would hand her a challenge. Tyler Ross dared the “spoiled superstar” to survive the ordeal. How could he know that horses and ranching were more Sarah’s style than star trips? How could she tell him without giving away the masquerade and ruining her sister’s career?
Read Sunny’s story in the sequel GOLDEN DAYS.

About the Author
While Kathy may have started as a romance writer, her plotlines always pushed the limits of genre. Her writing discipline is slightly unorthodox in that she believes her most creative period is the middle of night. Once her characters have been established and plot set up, she lets them take over. She believes that well-defined characters and an interesting plot should progress organically and that the writer should stay out of the way and not succumb to the temptation of manipulating the outcome. Often she is as surprised as the reader by what happens next! But by listening to her characters’ true voices, her books have heart and soul as they deal with the complex issues of real life.
Kathy took an extended break to write and develop screenplays, many of which center on stories that have never been told on the big screen. Her spec and commissioned scripts cover a wide range of subjects from a 19th century Colorado silver baron’s love story with real ties to Hollywood, Al Capone and the Titanic to the biggest life altering event in the 20th century and the anti-war riots of the 1970’s to the most accomplished female aviator in history and the birth of the WASP program to rollicking romantic comedies. Truth can be stranger than fiction but then one day you may see her work on the big screen and just say, “Wow, I didn’t know that!”
She is excited to present her published novels in e-book format. She’s hoping her loyal readers will rediscover books they loved in the past and books they may have missed. And now her books are available to millions of new readers worldwide. In the summer of 2012, after nearly four years of research, Kathy will bring a new edge to her characters in her first suspense thriller trilogy, starting with After Midnight. As of now she thinks she knows what’s going
