Meet the Author

West Tennessee native Sam McGowan is a veteran of the troop carrier/tactical airlift mission of the Vietnam Era. He flew more than 1,200 combat missions and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with eleven oak leaf clusters. He's been writing since the 1980s. He's a retired corporate pilot from the Houston, Texas vicinity.
