About the Author
Sy Liebergot was the Lead EECOM Flight Controller for Apollo missions 1215 and an EGIL (Skylab EECOM) for all of the Skylab program missions. He has appeared in the PBS series NOVA, the History Channel's Modern Marvels, and the acclaimed documentary Apollo 13: To the Edge and Back. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his work with the Apollo 13 Operations Team. He lives in Pearland, Texas. David M. Harland is a space historian who is the author of Exploring the Moon The Apollo Expeditions, The Story of Space Station Mir, and The Story of the Space Shuttle.
