This section also highlights the four basic math operations and the relationship between them.
You will also find formulas, factors, and accurate short cuts that will save you time and money. Section two of this book shows how materials are measured and sold using practical exercises. Example: if you are use to calculating drywall by dividing the total square feet by 32 then check this out! a ceiling area of 200 sf will need 6.25 sheets or 7 total sheets (2 2 2 1)take the first 2 and turn the other two zeros into 2s and add 1 (1 is for the .25. Also listed in this second section is helpful information such as job time lines, wages, taxes and insurances.
