Nia Rennix is a Nutritionist who attended Western New England University, New York University, and St. Joseph's College. She has a double bachelor's degree in Political Science and Clinical Nutrition. She went on to obtain her MA in Political Science with a concentration in Health Policy from Miami University and a M.Sc. in Clinical Nutrition. Presently, she is working on her PhD. in Natural Health & Nutrition. She has been featured in magazines such as Looking Good Now and Shape Magazine and is asked to speak at state and national conferences telling her weightloss story and speaking about the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle by making nutritional modifications. She is frequently asked to give presentations throughout New England and the Tri-State. Not only is Nia the President of The Rennix Weigh, but has held positions as Senior Nutritionist and Associate Director of Nutritional Programs in New York City. She is currently the Director of a Food & Fitness collaboration, funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation located in Western Massachusetts.
She is a member of the Academic Society for Functional Foods and Bioactive Compounds, American Dietetic Association, Southern Foodways Alliance, and the American Association of Nutrition Consultants. She also donates to various organizations who aim to fight hunger.
In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, reading in the park, shopping for furniture, and spending time with her family. Nia lives in Massachusetts with her cat, Bailey.
