About the Author

Mr. Mohammed Ali was born in a very respectable Muslim family of Barisal town, Bangladesh. He has completed his B.A.Honors degree in History [1967] from Dhaka University, Bangladesh and Master degree in History [1968].His main subjects in History were History/archaeology/Architecture. He joined in the government service Department of Archaeology, Ministry of Culture, Pakistan. After the liberation of Bangladesh he joined in Bangladesh and started Rebuilding the Department of Archaeology and Museums under the Ministry of Culture, Government of Bangladesh. Mohammed Ali has worked in the various categories of the Archaeology Department. As a Regional Director of Chittagong Division, Mr.Mohammed Ali led the Archaeological Excavation at Bhoj Rajar bari,Itakhola Mura and other important Archaeological sites and Unearthed the most important life size Buddha image which is now in Display in the Mainamati Museum. He took leading role in Establishing Rangpur Museum,Khulna Museum,etc.Mr.Mohammed Ali was the Pioneer and Team leader of Archaeological Survey in Bangladesh for the first time. He has represented Department of Archaeology, Bangladesh Government in various Asian and European countries and presented very resourceful Papers on Archaeology, Architecture, and Cultural subjects.. He has worked successfully at the local, state, national and international levels and understood the complexities of large organizations working toward a common mission. His success apart and lend invaluable insight into shaping the direction of cultural sides in the future also.
During his long 32 years of services in the Government service, he has gained sufficient experiences in the field of Development of any institution and all other works related with Government establishment and to articulate a strategic vision for the organization and be willing to embrace the unique focus on the environment.

He has also visited as a Trainee, Resource persons, Presenter in the countries : GERMANY,FRANCE,JAPAN,NEPAL,TAIWAN,INDIA,PAKISTAN,SOUTH KOREA,RUSSIA.
Mr. Mohammed Ali has written many books and research articles. So far 32 of his Research articles have been published.
