In the year 2432, humans think they are alone in the universe. They're wrong.

Commander Noa Sato plans a peaceful leave on her home planet Luddeccea ... but winds up interrogated and imprisoned for her involvement in the Archangel Project. A project she knows nothing about.

Professor James Sinclair wakes in the snow, not remembering the past twenty four hours, or knowing why he is being pursued. The only thing he knows is that he has to find Commander Sato, a woman he's never met.

A military officer from the colonies and a civilian from Old Earth, they couldn't have less in common. But they have to work together to save the lives of millions—and their own.
Every step of the way they are haunted by the final words of a secret transmission:

The archangel is down.

Excellent character development. Might seem slow to some who don't like that sort of thing.

If you like character driven sci-fi that explores big themes, but with a hefty dose of pew-pew, I think you'll like this.

Very good story line; grime page 1 to the end cannot stop reading!

There is a lot of action here. Clever, smart author and some ho hum. I don't try to figure out the ending. Just want to enjoy it. And believe me, there is a lot to try and figure out. Lots of tear jerker draw and enough humor to lighten the load. I read from a CIA analyst that in troubled times, she only read fiction after work so she wouldn't get sucked down the drain of despair. Perhaps that's part of the reason I've enjoyed this book so much! Good read, don't think you'll be disappointed. I really want to see where this'll lead to.

There is no beginning and no end to this book. It is a long middle or constant roundabout.
