I've been waiting for more translations of books and essays from the French New Right, as my knowledge of French is very limited. And here it is, Archeofuturism in English. This book presents an interesting representation of current Western society and what problems it will be facing in the future. One of the main points of this book is that the West is only floating above the surface of disaster as long as it is faced with a single problem at a time. If multicultural unrest, natural disasters and the crash of the economy were to strike simultaneously; the West will fall. Faye predicts and this future event while also presenting a recipe for building something of worth after the waves of disaster have passed. This recipe he calls "Archeofuturism", an ideology which combines the endless possibilities of the technology advancements of tomorrow with the ancient, lost values of yesterday. Even if you don't agree with Faye in every aspect, or at all, this is still an interesting book. A recommended read for every person interested in marginalized and exotic political theory.
