Archibald’s mother is determined that he will follow in his father’s footsteps as a great giant-slayer. But Archibald isn’t too sure about that idea and some of the kids at school tease him mercilessly about it. Is there a way that Archibald can become a hero like his father without risking his life in the process? His friend Lester has a plan to do just that, but this particular plan hits quite a few snags along the way and Archibald has all he can do to survive the adventure he encounters.

A 25 page very well-written free tale of a village boy attempting to live up to the expectations of his mother's heroic tale of his father, and keep him and is friend safe from the village/school bullies. Am deleting this little book because as of chapter 2 large sections of the text is white-blocked out. If you can find the complete story, it seems to be very good story for all ages. AND tell me what happened during the last ball game PLEASE! Four stars for the story - it wasn't the author's fault Barnes and Noble messed up the scanning.
