About the Author
Armando Azua-Bustos is an astrobiologist working in Chile. With a MSc in Biochemistry, another MSc in Biological Sciences and a PhD candidacy in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology, he has been working for 10 years with lifeforms of the Atacama Desert. The Atacama is a renown analog model of the planet Mars. As such, it has allowed the author of this book to work in collaboration with various researchers of many institutions of the world, including NASA.
