The story, written in the first person, is a collection of messages which form Maria's sustained monologue with the world. Through her e-mails we find out about the questions she is facing and sense the answers she is considering. The protagonist shares with us a story which will, inevitably, be the turning point in her life.

About the Author
Nuria Salán was born in Barcelona in the spring of 1963, although a few days later she was brought to live in Sant Boi de Llobregat, where she has lived her whole life. She has a degree in Chemistry with a specialization Metallurgy, and is a researcher and professor in the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). Her literary interest was awoken some years ago, bearing its first fruits in 2011 when she won the first prize in the Sant Joan Despí Short Story Contest with the short story 'The Stress Management Course'; she went on to win this contest again in 2013 with the story 'The Sabbatical'. With her novel 'Are You Busy Friday?' she has started a new stage in her writing career beyond the scientific and technological sphere.
