My 5 yr old loves it! She will sit and listen as long as I read. The idea of reading a chapter or two and stopping teaches her patience I think, she has to wait until the next night to see what happens. and she reads along with me for part of it so she sees new words. Cute, easy story.

I bought this to read to my 6-year-old granddaughter. It was a good length for a bedtime story and used characters she was familiar with from the movies. There were good quality graphics.

I liked the story because well ariel is my favorite princess and she is always optimistic and aways worring abour people and like her because she is a mermaid and her color hair is amazing and I like that she is always happy to be with eric and eric likes to be with ariel they are a perfect couple and they aways do fun things like have picnics go to the market and go for a walk ad that for me is really fun for me ariel has the happiest family up in the sea and I think it was nice hat ariel dad let er turn into a human to be with eric ad her sisters are really nice to it was really nice of adella to invite ariel to come to her birthday and I wonder if it was going to be under sea or somewhere else like on the shore so eric and ariel can both celebrate with adella ad I know I am 9 years old but I still love her and I don't care if they make fun of me but she is th best princess how lives I like all the princesses but ariel is the best so go ARIEL I also like the story because the charecters look like just in the movie not like in other books they are different charecters and this one is realistic so thats why I am posting this summary I LOVE ARIEL

Afrter a while Amy went to Kristey's room. "Kristey you in here", asked Amy. "Ya come in", said Kristey. When Amy went in she found Kristey at her desk. "What are you doing", asked Amy. "Oh nothing realy just drawing", replied Kristey. Amy asked "Can I see them?" "Shure if you realy want to", replied Kristey. There was a picture of Shadow (Kristey's brother), the woods, Kristey's cave, a sunrise, and Sonic, Amy, Tails, and Knuckles entering Kristeys cave. "Wow your a good artist", said Amy. "Thanks", answered Kristey. "Do you like Sonic", asked Amy. "As a friend", began Kristey. "But I dont have a crush on him. Why do you ask?" "Oh um because Sonic likes you", answered Amy. "He dose", asked Kristey. "And Knuckles dose too", said Amy. "I didnt notice", said Kristey. "But how could you not when we first met you when you slaped Shadow in the face Sonic had little hearts forming on his cute little face", began Amy before Kristey interupded her. "Wait Amy, are jealuse of me", asked Kristey. "Yes yes I am", said Amy loudly. "I had a crush on him first and then you came in just steeling him from me shure I kind of annoy him but I still like him!", yelled Amy. "Amy calm down", said Kristey who was trying to find out what she did rong. Amy stormed out of Kristey's room. Next part will be on... who was harriet tubman

Ariel goes to her sisters b day party and is stuck there ..... they do the day all over again to see if they can undo the wish, so its sorta like reading the first half all over just to see if the ending changes.
