This is a good book with excellent pictures and generally good capations. But I found a few mistakes in the book that dropped a star in my rating. The authors kept fumbling over George Washington Parke Custis's relationship to George and Martha Washington. Custis was the grandson of Martha and the step-grandson to George. But at the heart of this book is the individual stories of the famous and the averge solider who protected our freedoms and for many paid the ultimate sacrifice.
