This is Dr. Tim Bucha. I wrote a recommendation for this book. This book has been adopted by 4 Canadian universities as a textbook. It also has been adopted by major research & analytical laboratories as a manual and a reference. It is written by an authority on the subject who actually invented four analytical methods that have been officially named after him. The person who gave it one-star rating either: rated the wrong book, or he has something - personal - against the author and likely is not familiar with the subject. This book was voted the sience book of 2012 by EPEC.
