I've always enjoyed art books, but often felt they were not written for the regular guy or gal on the street. You know, those of us who can't afford the masterpieces, but have a great appreciation of the beauty, individuality and charm of all medium of art work.Lots of great art, lots of great detail, and a totally enjoyable read. I have a new appreciation of art as a whole, and will view many pieces with a new eye. Anyone new to the art world, or anyone intimidated by the style often used to review and describe art will find this guide invaluable. It's going on my keeper shelf, for sure.

"The Art of Everyday Joe: A Collector's Journal," is an amazing book for collectors as well as artists. As soon as you open the book, Michael K. Corbin offers a first hand guide to art. I thought that owning art was next to impossible, but now with the help of Corbin, I realize that I can achieve my dream of owning art. Written as though he were writing a journal, "The Art of Everyday Joe," is exactly what it states. Also, Corbin has included interviews that he has conducted with several artists. They are also included in this book. When you open "The Art of Everyday Joe," it's as though you have stepped into an art class designed just for you. Michael K. Corbin, offers us a wealth of amazing knowledge. With crisp photographs of the art that he has collected, "The Art of Everyday Joe," is a treasure trove for both artists and collectors alike. With each turn of the page, it's as though you have stepped into another art gallery. I will definitely treasure this book.
