As Good As The First Book Of The Trilogy!! I can't decide which is my favorite, book one or this one. I didn't care for Juliana's story very much, not as exciting as the other two. This one really tug on my heart strings - a lot. I liked how there were really two love stories going on in this book, and it made it very exciting. This is a very loving story, not only for the love between our two main character's, but for the Uncle and how Sean cared for him. I thought the Uncle was such a loveable guy, and very smart too. This book is a great story, and a great deal if you purchase the bundle because you get to catch up on all the Chase family. (ljb)

Very good book! Sean Delaney is an Irishman who inherited a small fortune and through business sense and investment, made himself a rich man. Still, he is not accepted by the ton - he is still a lowborn man of trade. Attempting to secure his sister a divorce from her odious husband, he agrees to impersonate him and keep his brother-in-law's dying uncle company. Only problem is - he's supposed to be impersonating a painter - a problem when you're color-blind. So he enlists the help of Corinna Chase - an artist trying to get a painting into the Royal Academy. She helps Sean along with the hoax, and along the way, a romance flourishes between them. I found this to be an interesting set-up for a romance novel. Sean is a self-made man, in love with a woman far above him, while Corinna is a bit of a rebel, flouting convention by wanting to paint portraits instead of the more feminine still-lifes. Neither character dominates the other in this well-written book - both are full and interesting characters in their own right, and their coming together is all the more satisfying because of it.

I have just finished reading "The Art of Temptation". It is the last of the 11 books I have read by Lauren Royal and it did not disappoint. I started with a free copy of "Amythist" and bought the rest of the "Jewel Series" right away! I absolutly LOVE the Chase family. Free ebooks haved led me to so many great authors and I read them all on my Nook Tablet--I call it the best gift I never wanted. I've been an avid reader all my life and libraries have made that possible. My Nook was a Christmas present from my husband, even though I stressed that I couldn't imagine not holding a book in my hands. He actually bought it so I could read in bed without the lights on. Also he is tired of moving boxes of books. I discovered so many free ebooks available and now I have over 1,000 books in my Nook library. I can't imagine living without it! Anyway I'm waiting wuth bated breath for anything written by Laurel Royal and her daughter! If you really want to escape from everyday stress just read these books! Thanks Lauren!

I love the three books in this series (Regency Chase Family)! I have not read the stories of the prior generations of Chase family (author's other books, other series), but this generation of Chase family is so, so endearing! These 3 books tell the story of Griffin, his three sisters, and their extended family. This book is the 3rd and final and focuses on Corina, the youngest of Griffin's sisters. This author writes INCREDIBLY well, with humor. If Ms. Royal were to write more on the Regency Era, I would buy those books without hesitation! Please, Lauren Royal, can we have more on the Regency Era, with another family just as endearing?

*Insert happy sigh here* I loved it! Sometimes when you read so many books by the same author they tend to blend and all kinda sound alike....not Laurens books! I absolutely loved this one! The character all felt like comfortable old friends & the 2 romantic storylines always kept things exciting. From the utter sadness & devestation to the ecstatic joy its yet another horribly wonderful emotional roller coaster through the pages of history!

Wonderful story. Once again Lauren writes a delightful, romantic novel. Give all her books a read, and reread. You can never go wrong with her!
