Arthur's Loose Tooth (I Can Read Picture Book Series) by Lillian Hoban

Arthur, afraid of pulling his loose tooth, and his little sister, Violet, learn something about being brave in the seventh adventure about two favorite chimps.

Arthur’s sister Violet tells him that she is going to be a doctor. Arthur says, “I am going to be Captain Fearless, the bravest chimp in the world. I have THE POWER!”

But Arthur is afraid of something. And Violet helps him discover that it takes more than The Power to be truly brave.

Lillian Hoban’s brother and sister chimps are as funny and lovable as ever.

We were not familiar with this title, but lots of our friends are losing teeth right now, so it is apropos. Both children adore this book, ages 3 and 4. 3 year old loves the aspect of sibling relationship, and talking about things we are afraid of and what we can do about them. Some very nice lessons to talk about in this simple story for days!!!

I liked this book very much! This book was funny. It teaches people how to be brave. I liked when Arthur planned for his tooth to get pulled out by the door being opened.
