The fiction book Artsy Fartsy is a fun, and kid friendly book for all ages. The silly characters in the book make it very enjoyable for all. My favorite part was when Aldo started to enjoy baseball! This adventurous book will take your imagination to many places! I think that ages 4-40 would enjoy this book. Artsy Fartsy will make you laugh out loud! It is humorous, and older people would enjoy the humor. It is humorous, and believe me, all of us can relate to it! Review by Sofia H, age 11, Denver Mensa

I got this book for my 7 year old son on a whim. I loved the cover of the book and it's written in the style that he enjoys, similar to the Diary Kid books. The moment he started reading it, he couldn't put it down!! I could hear him in his room laughing as he read this book! I loved reading as a child and I really wanted to instill the love of reading in my kids and with books like these, you can't go wrong. They are engaging and funny, and have a great story line. I love the glossary at the end of the book that has definitions for a lot of the "big" words in the books. He loved this book so much, we immediately went out and got Bogus, the next book in the series. he loved that book just as much and we can't wait for Cahoots to come out!! I just really love that these books are kid friendly, with no questionable content.

My mom gave me this book for Christmas. This book is about a kid named Aldo. His grandmother gives him a red letter sketchbook and tells him to draw stuff in it because she thinks he is good at drawing, but he isn't sure about that. He and his friend Jack spend time in a fort under a tree and he leaves his book there. Later they find pictures drawn in the sketchbook. They think a girl drew girly pictures of flowers and other things in it and were mad that someone invaded their fort and messed with his stuff, then they try to figure out who left the drawings in the book. Aldo's parents force him to be on a baseball team even though he hates sports and he gets a clue and then thinks that one of the girls on his team might be the girl that drew in the book. One reason I liked this book was because Aldo's favorite things to do are read comic books, watch tv and play video games with his friend and he hates sports and I thought that was funny. I think many other kids would like this book because it is fun to read, it is interesting and because there is a small mystery to solve. I also really liked Bogus and now I'm waiting to read Cahoots.
