Ashes To Ashes: A Novella (Book 5 in the Ministry of Curiosities series) by CJ Archer

Charlie is gone, and Lincoln finds that Lichfield Towers offers no sanctuary. With reminders of her at every turn, and employees threatening to mutiny, he must try to find the murderer who is killing supernaturals on his own. And keep the murderer away from Charlie.

When the strongman from the visiting Barnum and Bailey's circus is murdered, Lincoln suspects a link, but piecing together the clues becomes dangerous and difficult work. He can't afford to be distracted, yet he finds he can't concentrate fully on the task. Even worse, Seth's mother, the incomparable Lady Vickers, has come to stay.

ASHES TO ASHES is a bonus novella-length story, told entirely from Lincoln's point of view. It is shorter than the rest of the books in the Ministry of Curiosities series.

Only 88 pages, really? I was so exicited to get the next chapter in this series, only to find it was 88 pages. So very disappointing. Why bother.

So many say its a waste of time or annoying cause ots short but it says it in the details. Its a shorter story depecting what Lincoln goes through after Charlie leaves. I liked it...not as Fantastic as the others so far but then again its needed to understand things. the extra story was also interesting.

I hope this one brings Charlie back. I really did like getting to know what Lincoln thought and how he felt. I really liked it when he shunned Julia. I am also dying to know who is killing off the supernaturals. This is a very good series. I brought all 9 of them I love it that much. Keep up the good work.

Only 90 pages. But you have to read it if you're hooked on the story. Love the story line so I will be buying the next one too. I guess I am a sucker.
