About the Author

William Warren, American by birth, has lived in Thailand since 1960 and has traveled extensively throughout Asia over the years. He is the author of more than 50 books on architecture, tropical gardens and history, among them Jim Thompson: The Unsolved Mystery, a biography of the man who made Thai silk famous; The House on the Klong, Heritage Homes of Thailand, Thai Style, The Tropical Garden, Balinese Gardens, Singapore: City of Gardens and Phuket: Pearl of the Orient.
