About the Author

Sherri Zicree was born in Ohio and has lived her adult life in California. Her life had been driven by her late husband Stuart, her children, grandchildren and her pugs, feeling blessed in their love. After the loss of her granddaughter, her best friend and the illness of her husband, she found each day a trial -- and then she discovered Harry Potter.

Sherri was mesmerized when she entered J. K. Rowling's world. She found the experience rich, entertaining and a much needed respite from life's challenges. She read all the books and watched all the movies, sometimes for only five minutes at a time. She reread and watched again, noticing the slight and sometimes large differences between the books and the movies.

When her husband needed dialysis for hours three times a week, she went with him every time. If he was able to sleep, she started writing quiz questions related to Harry Potter.

Armed with her idea of a quiz book for each of the Harry Potter books, she knew that The Deathly Hallows -- being over a thousand pages long -- would rack up a large number of questions. Even she was surprised when they passed the four thousand mark!

Going page by page with the action, peril and rich characters, the questions came easily. What was not so easy was adhering to her rule of interjecting nothing that was not directly on the page. When you read all the books and know all the characters, you carry with you the knowledge of what happened before -- and so there may be one sentence that speaks volumes. But she could not ask those questions and stay true to the written page.

Days turned into months and then a year. She finished the book just weeks before Stu passed away. He was incredibly proud when Sherri completed the work, and thrilled at the prospect of its seeing print.

Sherri is currently learning to move forward in her new life on her own and busy on forthcoming Asked and Answered volumes, including Deathly Hallows Book vs. Movie and a series of books examining The Hunger Games.

Interesting in many ways, but many grammer errors, as well as a number if the questions made no sense. One question spoke of Ron, Hermoine, and Hermoine. Questions were too long, and overly complicated with discriptions. Other wise it has some good questions. It made me want to go back and read The Deadly Hallows again.

What I liked about this book is that the part that has 10 questions is the important stuff that happened in the chapter and if you need more the other part has a load of questions. I haven't looked up the stuff in Deathly Hallows yet but I will.
