About the Author

Laurence P. Scerri, (Larry), has been riding and writing of life, ‘in the wind’ nearly thirty years, primarily under the pen name, Ironhorse Writer - American Biker Poet.

As an active member of the National Road Poets and Writers Association, Highway Poets MCC as well as the proud recipient of Biker Poet Laureate for Connecticut Cruise News, Larry’s desire is that his poetry as well as insightful commentary aids in carving out a niche for what he feels is truly an American Legacy.

In addition to have regularly contributed his work within various Biker magazines, Quick Throttle, Thunder Roads, Arizona Rider and Born to Ride, just to name a few, Larry was one of a select group of Biker Poets to have several pieces of his poetry included within two well received Biker Poetry Anthologies, Verse and Steel as well as, Rubber Side Down. Recently, Larry’s piece, An American Biker, was included within the critically acclaimed, ‘Portrait of American Bikers - Inside Looking Out - The Flash Collection II’.

As Cowboy Poetry, to this day, captures and illustrates life on the open range, Biker Poetry offers the next chapter of an endearing American heritage, albeit atop a steel steed, upon an Asphalt Range.
