Assigned Guilt (Deadlines & Diamonds, #5.5) by Morgan Kearns

It’ll be fun, she’s told.

When a guilt trip sends Stephanie McCallister on a Girl’s Night Out, she learns a whole new meaning of the word ‘fun’. A new friend and a new club lead to a brand new adventure. New isn’t always good and sometimes ends by needing to be rescued. Enter Gavin Scott. Spending his night monitoring scanners and dispatching photojournalists, he’s rarely surprised when the phone rings. But one early morning phone call sends him racing for the door, with only one thing on his mind.

This was originally a short in an anthology and is now a stand alone and it has an added chapter and an epilogue to it to tie it all up very nicely. I loved this read scratch that I love this entire series they are all wonderful. Stephanie was wonderful and full of spunk and I'm glad she got her story told and Denali oh Denali she is fierce and there is totally a story there that I would love to one day read. If you haven't read this or any of the books in this series you really should they are worth it.
