Dante is older, dark, dangerous, and the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Iron Bulls MC. Sex with him was supposed to be a way to get even with my ex-boyfriend.
Instead I find myself falling for the raunchy, dirty-talking biker who'll do anything to protect me.

Dante:
Karina Rivers was supposed to be a one-time, afternoon distraction. I'm way too old and twisted for someone as innocent as this beautiful girl.

Unfortunately she has the power to tear my MC apart--and she doesn't even know it

ASUNDER features a foul-mouthed biker and the girl who melts his stone-cold heart.

Overall Rating:  3.5 Rockin Stars Asunder is the first book in author Phoenyx Slaughter’s, Iron Bulls MC series and is also her debut novel.  It has a cliffhanger that will leave you on the edge of a gigantic precipice wondering why I didn't wait until the next book was published before reading the first one! With that said the story is intriguing and as you can tell from my angst is worth reading. Dante is the Sergeant at Arms for the Iron Bulls MC.  He enforces the laws for the club with his fists.  No pain no gain is his motto.  He has never wanted or needed a woman of his own.  His lifestyle doesn't allow it.  When he bumps into Katrina it is only supposed to be a one and done deal.  Enjoy her and then on to the next one, but there is something special about this girl, his baby girl.  Katrina only wanted to get revenge on her ex-, Logan who had joined the club.  She wanted to make him jealous, but when she gets to know Dante, she completely forgets all about Logan and only wants to be with Dante.  There are some hot, sexy scenes that will leave you panting!  The chemistry between Dante and Katrina is smolderingly hot.  As unexperienced as Katrina is compared to the older Dante, you can only imagine what he can teach his woman. Throughout the novella, Logan continues to try to come between them and at the end succeeds, but we are left wondering why? Why does he care? What is Katrina to him? What will happen next?  We will have to read the next book to see.

Karina and Dante meet when she tries to make her ex-neighbor and ex-boyfriend, Logan, jealous.  When Dante and Karina get together he is surprised by his quick feelings for her.  He finds himself wanting her with him all of the time and to protect her which he has never felt before with other women.  The fact that he is 32 and she is 18 doesn't seem to faze either one of them.  Logan acts protective of Karina throughout this book but we don't get the full story on why.  There is a cliffhanger and we now have to wait until August to find out what is really going on in Logan's head, how Dante is going to deal with this and what is going to happen to Karina.  It should be an interesting ride.

This was a good story. I liked the relationship between Dante and Karina, with Logan thrown in as her ex. I didn't know this ended with a cliff hanger. The next book doesn't come out until August and by then I'm sure I'll have forgotten this story and will probably miss the next one. If you like cliff hangers, I would recommend this book.
