Meet the Author

J. M. Barrie (1860-1937) was a Scottish author and playwright. He was involved in the early twentieth-century attempts to overcome state censorship of the arts. Drawing inspiration from the Lewely Davies family (who had five boys), Barrie is best known as the creator of Peter Pan, the boy who wouldn't grow up.

Charming selection of stories set in the Scottish town of Thrums. Sort of a companion book to 'A Window in Thrums' by the same author.
