Spottedpaw caught 3 tuna. Whitepaw caught 4 flounders. Coralpaw caught 2 silverfish. They padded back to camp with their catch.

What can I say, I just get totally lost in these books, I just love them. It is so easy to imagine being in the story itself.. I just wish there were more of them.

I bought this book before I realized that it was part of a series. Even though I read it out of order, I still really enjoyed it. I saw it described as a cozy mystery, which is a great description. It is the kind of book you want to read while curled up with a cup of tea. It was a creative, well written story. I already picked up her first book to start at the beginning!

I am a fan of Nancy Atherton's work and look forward to new installments of the Aunt Dimity series. However, this one left me flat. I especially disliked the voice given to her two five year old sons. It also irked me now how every character is of privilege. I also would of liked for there to be more interaction with Aunt Dimity.

I love this series and have now read all of the books. They are charming and entertaining. This book is particularly intense and I wouldn't recommend it for children. One of the great things about this series is I can escape into the lives of the characters living in a charming village in England. Don't miss out. The series starts with Aunt Dimity's Death. I highly recommend you start at the beginning.

If you have an idea that you would like to slow down your pace and really just read for fun, you'll enjoy this Aunt Dimity book. These books don't solve the problems of the world or explain rocket science, but they sure do provide a couple hours of relaxed reading for the busy mind. Slow down and enjoy this ghostly little read !!

It had been a while since I had read any of the Aunt Dimity books. I was memerized by this tale of intrigue, complete with death threats causing Lori Shepherd and her 5-year- old twins to be forced into hiding in an ancient castle on a secluded Scottish island. True, everyone in the story was surrounded by an embarrassment of riches, especially the twins, but why not? The world is made of the haves and the have-nots. It is not mandatory to include 'poor little urchins' in every single story written. Variety is the spice of life, not to mention the reality.
