This book has got me excited the moment I laid my eyes on its beautiful, holy grail cover. I've always been a diehard fan of Jane Austen's work (well, who isn't) and the fact that this book contained anthologies from her stories and are set in contemporary Pakistan was enough for me to go gaga about it. It's a collection of seven heartwarming stories from Pakistani women who are emotional, romantic, uplifting, and extremely witty. I personally enjoyed the second story 'Emaan Ever After' where the girl ends up with her best friend. All the contributors including Laaleen have done a tremendous job by paying a homage to the queen of classic romance. Even today, Austen's stories continue to inspire us, leaving us awestruck with her explanations that define the mindset of our Pakistani society.
