How would you feel if your own family despised you because you are different than everyone else? Moreover, they are afraid you might turn hostile. "Aville of Rhia" is an adventorous, magical, self-trusting, finding your-true-self novel. Avielle is a young teen whose life is tormented, by the powerful tragedy her own grandmother, Dovolka, couldn't erase. However, all the answers to all of Aville's questions are revealed, and the truth will finally touch the surface. Everything the people of Rhia knew was all wrong. A magical fiction story that kept me awake till 2:30 A.M!. Each page was infected with intense moments, leaving my imagination hungry for more.

Avielle of Rhia is about a sad girl who everyone despises because she is part Dredonian and has all of a Dredonian's features. What makes the situation worse is that her great-great grandmother was Dredonian and she used her magic to banish all birds from Rhia. Because Avielle looks Dredonian, has an evil grandmother, and later discovers that she has magic powers, she, and everyone else, is afraid that she will become corrupt as her grandmother did. A great book and highly reccomended.
