Honest review, I often read these reviews and they bug me because at the same time they preference the review by saying the author gave them a free copy for their honest review? So I want to preference this by saying the author never gave me any free copies of any of her books, I've purchased them all via B&N. I usually never give a book 5 stars, but in this case I have to. There were SO many great lines in this book. Lines that are so true to life. The author started telling a story about 2 college students in book 1, and she grows their characters throughout the series. She rolls it all up in this final book and it was freaking amazing. K.A. Linde, brought all of her characters full circle, and although it was brutally honest and extremely painful to read at times, it was their life. The author truly shows how flawed we are as humans. We try so hard not to be, but there are so many temptations in life that we can't help ourselves. K.A. Linde stripped Lexi, Jack, Chyna, Ramsey, and even Bekah down to their core, and then for some of them they had a rebirth. If you are looking for a fuzzy, happily ever after series this one probably isn't for you, this series is for the real reader. A reader who not only loves to read, but gets connected to what they are reading. Loved it, and congrats to you K.A. Linde!

This series has been one gigantic roller coaster ride since the beginning. K.A. Linde is a masterful writer. She draws you into the world of Lexi and it consumes you. Lexi is an amazing lead character. She loves like no other, and is just a normal girl. Yes she makes you want to smack her with her mistakes, but it's mistakes we've all made. Especially as a woman who wants that one love. And the Men, Wow! They are all such sexy, wonderful, alpha males, that you really can not go wrong with who you choose. And Chyna is the best friend that everyone should have, or that everyone wants. The secondary characters are also well written that you know enough about them, but they don't detract from the story. I'm done gushing now. If you have not read the first two books in the series, you need to before reading this. And if you've been immersed in this series for a while, you will NEED to read this conclusion. It will make you love, laugh, cry, and honestly make you feel bipolar with so many emotions. But it's the right ending for Lexi, and she does get her HEA, and Kyla writes it in a way, that you are ok that it is not your original choice. And while your heart will break, she keeps the integrity of the characters.

The Avoiding Series is one my all time favorites!!! K.A. Linde’s writing is absolutely phenomenal and can make a reader go thru so many different emotions it’s crazy! Avoiding Temptation was one of my highly anticipated reads this year and let’s just say K.A. didn’t disappoint.  AT made me cry, happy and swoon and I loved being able to see what had happened in the two years since AR.  I think AT ended just the way it should and seeing Lexi be happy was the most important part of this journey!!!  I can’t wait to read more from K.A. Linde!!

Wow, is all I can manage to say right now. I did not expect this ending at all. Lexi finally gets her HEA.  This series was incredible. It wasn't predictable, it was imperfect and real life emotions. I found myself more emotional in this book than book 2.  I did not read Chyna's story or Jack and Ramsey's POV, but the series did not disappoint at all. I highly recommend.  This is my second series by K.A. Linde, I read book 1 of the Record Series - that was excellent too, can't wait for book 2. She is a great writer... I will definitely read more by her!!!

Avoiding Temptation was the perfect ending to Lexi's not so perfect journey in love and relationships. Regardless of being Team Ramsey, Team Jack, or Team John....after reading the final installment in the series, I can't imagine it having ended in any other way.

The ONE thing I want to know is…when is Lexi going to get rid of her phone? AT is a terrific ending to the series. I think everybody has grown up by this installment, even Jack. Lexi and Ramsey are together (which for some reason I didn’t expect). They’re at a place where they can speak openly about Jack and they seem to have a really good relationship. It was nice to see Jack in Lexi’s life and that they’re able to be friends and not constantly talk about their past. I was proud that Lexi didn’t try to cover up who John was…AHHH John! I f*n love him. Not only is Lexi’s description of him hot but DAMN! He knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to say it. Jack finally grows a set and redeems himself after his douche move at the end of AR. If you’ve enjoyed the prior books in this series, you won’t be disappointed. There are plenty of laughs, hugs and heartbreak to go around but I wouldn’t change one minute of it.  - “You’re dating Ramsey Bridges?” John asked incredulously. “Uh…yeah. Kind of.” “Well, that’s inconvenient. I’m pretty sure you weren’t yelling his name when we were together.”

4.5 stars for me - SERIES as a whole definitely a 5 star. The author is a queen of angst and can write one hell of a love triangle.  Lexi had to make a choice - we all knew that it was going to come. Through this series most were on a team - Team Jack, Team Ramsey, Team ...., BUT, no matter who she ends up with - I think it is Lexi's choice. Whether she is that friend you want to just smack or you want to hug her.... it was her choice.  I will not say which team I was on and if it was who I wanted it to be. But, I will say that I understand the feelings that Lexi had (mostly), but she was going to have to live with it. While the author took me on a wild roller coaster with this series - and many feel like they crashed at the end, I would not hold the author personally responsible for the choice she had Lexi make. But rather, I guess, give kudos to the author for pulling soooo many strong emotions our of her readers to feel so strongly one way or the other. All in all, I LOVED this SERIES!!! I became an AVOIDING ADDICT!

I just can't wrap my mind around this one. It wasn't what I was expecting. I still can't believe the way it ended. I loved this series. I like the "not so pretty" characters, but I didn't like the ending.

Linde is a great writer, sucks u in. BUT I read her page after the story was over and decided how she feels her books should go i can't read anymore of her books, she wants a imperfect ending. I read for the perfect, happy endings otherwise why read romances!

K. A. Linde does it again! She keeps you intrigued throughout the story. So many twists and turns that it makes putting the book down nearly impossible. Great ending to the avoiding series. I feel that the book avoiding decisions can help put the ending of this book into perspective, wether you root for team Jack or team Ramsey.
