Avow (The Archers of Avalon, #3) - What can I say that hasn't already been said about this trilogy? Well first off Chelsea Fine is a narrating genius! Her words are totally beguiling from page one; your surroundings utterly fall away and draw you into Scarlet's enchanting world. My mind was simply bewitched by the plot layering and sophisticated story-telling. This is top-notch YA fantasy at its very best. Get comfortable - pick a nice secluded spot to read because you'll be captivated by this novel for a long while. I'm so beyond words; and so completely enraptured by this clever, imaginatively twisted fairy tale-esque story. The English language can hardly describe my feelings about this book and the rest in the trilogy. So instead I will try to construe my verbal feelings into two words: amazingly-marvelous! You may want to physically prepare yourself because you'll be reading for hours from cover to cover. Time will cease to exist so watch-out! The triangular affair between Scarlet, Tristan, and Gabriel is even more alluring and compelling in this final book. I adored Nate who is really loyal and endearing in his own awkwardly comedic way. The characters are wonderfully fleshed out and feel very real and believable. Starting up exactly where Awry left off you are thrust into the pending doom that is Scarlet's life. Seamlessly stitching together the past events that lead into the present ones. You see how Tristan and Gabriel lived without Scarlet all those years in-between her deaths and how all past events shaped each individual into the characters you've grown to love-or instantly fell in love with from the very beginning. The past of Tristan, Gabriel and Scarlet is a complexity in and of itself with a constant flux of situations that are ever-evolving and further progressing the grim circumstance for which they now find themselves in. & It's there last chance to find the Fountain of Youth before it's too late! Avow delivers a beautifully satisfying ending to an incredible journey of undying and everlasting love. One that will make you feel happy, sad, frustrated, and even tearful. Everything is neatly and brilliantly explained tying up all loose ends previously unexplained. It's an epic read and the trilogy as a whole is mind-blowing and outstanding. Easiest 5 star rating ever given as it deserves every one for a wonderful plot, fantastic characters, exceptional writing, unexpected twists, and a rare freshness that's almost unheard of in the Paranormal-Fantasy genre. The Archers of Avalon series is unparalleled. Loved this entire series!

One word, disappointing Ugh...This book completely made me dislike the main characters and Scarlet's romance with Tristan.  More than half of Avow was flashbacks and most of it filled me in on background info I already knew or didn't need to know.  There was poorly placed humor that didn't relieve the tension like the previous novels.  Finally there were plot holes galore.       First off, there was way too many flashbacks. If used sparingly they can really enhance a book, but in Avow the flashbacks completely ran rampant.  In the flashbacks , Scarlet couldn't stay away from Tristan even though she would die if she touched him at all.  Also, they made Tristan out to be a brooding, moody mess.  In the second book, unlike the third book, the flashbacks were sweet and actually added insight to the characters.   I still don't like the main villain and her army of zombies.  The scene were Scarlet, Tristan, and Nate were trying to find Gabriel and Heather because Raven had kidnapped them completely and utterly lost me.  How could they not find them?  I thought Avalon was a extremely small town and yet, they were saying, "We can't drive around town looking for them, we'll never find them."  There can't be that many places Raven could hide them (*cough* warehouse district *cough*).    My other big issue was the disconnect between Anew and Avow.  In the first novel, I thought if she drank the eternal water she'd be cured and live forever but in the last novel it changed to her eating the fruit from the tree by the water to live forever.  Also in Avow, immortal blood eliminates any magic, making it useless.  So if the arrow Raven cursed and shot through Tristan went through Tristan's immortal blood, wouldn't that mean that Gabriel is not really cursed?    Overall, hugely disappointing and a disheartening conclusion scene.  The only thing I liked about the novel was Heather, but she wasn't as funny as before.  I recommend the first book and maybe the second book, but the third book is a complete let down.

Scarlet’s memories are back! It’s time to find the Fountain of Youth and end their curse once and for all. In the mean time, though, Scarlet is pissed because of what Tristan has been trying to do. Not only that, but the curse has reversed and now she can feel Tristan’s emotions. The curse is getting worse and with ashmen and crazy witches getting in their way, it’ll take all their resources to get to the end. Avow is the final story of the Archer’s of Avalon. It is strong, full of emotion, and leaves you begging for more from Chelsea Fine! I’d been waiting for this book for a long time and when I finally got it and read it, I didn’t know how to feel about the way it was written. The thing is a huge chunk of the book is set in the past. Scarlet’s has her memories back, so we literally go back in time and get to read about all of Scarlet’s lives and what she did in them. The problem was that my mind kept up a constant reminder of “OMG what’s happening in the present?” That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy the story of their past, it’s just that it seemed like a completely separate book. Because of this, I was also worried that the ending wouldn’t be as powerful, but I was totally wrong. At sixty five percent the story-line turns back to the present and ohmygoodness the plot turns even more action packed and awesome.People are kidnapped, slapped around, and carried off by ashmen. You’d think it’d be a serious moment, but I just laughed through it all thanks to Heather’s comments. She and Nate are as hilarious as ever. There is also much abs and pec showing and the all around shirtless glory of the Archer men. They’re both serious book boyfriend material, and I’m kind of sad that this is the end to their story. I’d figured out the ending way back when they mentioned sacrifices and stuff. But then the ending came and someone unexpectedly got hurt and I was like “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo” but then it turned out alright. So though I knew the sacrifice, it still gave me a heck of a scare when the time came. Any author that can catch me unawares like that is an author I will follow anywhere in any story he or she writes. Again, I can’t believe this is “the end” of The Archers of Avalon. That last line has me thinking there might be more. (Maybe with a different cast? So exciting!) Whatever comes of it, this series makes my top ten favorite series EVER list.

Absolutely spectacular and well written, Avow is the last book of the Archers of Avalon series. Again, Chelsea has managed to capture everything needed in a captivating book. Here, I thought the book couldn't get any better but then she writes that ending and I'm just left there thinking...OMG that was so perfect!!! I mean, what better way to end a book then to start from where it all began? Anyway, she also allows us to fully understand what's going on in Scarlet's head all the secrets she has stored in there(and let me just say, there are some really interesting ones in there!!!) by writing about her past and I really did love the scenes between Tristan and Scarlet...eventhough some were very heart breaking. I honestly don't know how she comes up with all these ideas and characters but I hope there will be more books written by Chelsea cause I will definitely read them. Overall, an enticing and nerve wracking trilogy. Phew...and here I was thinking something totally unbelievable and depressing thing was going to happen :)

Wow... there almost isn't words to describe the ending of this amazing series. This book was impressive and finished out the story impeccably. The scenes between Scarlett and Tristan were both steamy and sweet and I loved the fact that his whole outlook changed around when he realized he no longer hurts Scarlett. Also the budding relationship between Gabriel and Heather was adorable and I was glad that Gabriel was given the chance to find love. Overall this book was beyond words and the surprise twist ending was both heart breaking and possibly the best ending Chelsea Fine could have wrote for this incredible series.

**Spoilers from previous books and some from Avow* MY THOUGHTS;       Avow was just amazeballs!!! Chelsea Fine did a magnificent job writing the Archers of Avalon series and did a great job writing an end to the series. So sad I won't be seeing more of the characters :'( But her writing is the epitome of EPIC. She manages to keep hilarious dialogue between the characters even though they're in a grave/ dangerous situation. She also carefully manages to intertwine the past with the present as she did in the other books. And it really helps the reader understand whats going on and I love how she doesn't repeat ther memories from the last books and give readers a whole new perspectives on what really happened.                One of my favorite aspect about this book was the characters!! Heather, Scarlet's best friend, is AWESOMESAUCE and I loved how Chelsea added her into the plot. Usually I'm not the fondest of the best friends but Heather's such a great friend and I wish I could meet her in real life. Gabriel...hehehehe. I think Gabriel got most affected by the curse. I mean not loving anyone other than your brother's first and only love, who ends up dying every time she gets close to his brother? Yeah, that's got to be hard. I love how he respects Scarlet's decisions and his this cool relationship with Tristan. But I'm so happy Chelsea gave Gabriel the happy ending he deserves! Nate, oh my god, NATE!!! He's super loyal and would do ANYTHING to protect his friends, and that's one of the things he had in common with Scarlet. Speaking of Scarlet, now that she's got her memory back, she's gotten all kick-butt on us and  has seriously changed from the quiet, innocent, shy girl she was in Anew. Her interaction with Tristan in this book had me laughing and ahhhh it was  sooo cute :D              Now as for Tristan *dreamy sigh*, he kept tearing at my heart and mended it all the while. Now that he isn't causing Scarlet to die and its the other way around, he's been all cheery and happy and d*** adorable!!! Ok so I really want to share this line (one of my favoites) from Avow, but oh my god after reading it THE FEELS DUDE!! I died when reading it! "My heart is not broken Scar. My heart is dead!" SEE what I mean!!! Ooh and I'll share another one 'cuz I'm just that awesome..well Chelsea is. "Your life is not just 'something', Scarlet. He emphasized the 'let' in her name. "It's everything," his voice cracked. I had the urge to hug him and I had to restrain myself from saying Awwwww out loud.            Chelsea Fine outdid herself and did a wonderful job with Avow and trust me when I say it's waaaay better than the first two books (although if you haven't read them yet..you should!!) All Archers of Avalon fans will completely devour and savor it. I most definitely recommend this book/series to all YA paranormal lovers out there and those in for one hell of a roller coaster and  brothers that will make you swoon.

Was waiting for the book to finally come out, the whole series was great, from the very beginning. Loved how in this book we were taken back in the past. How we saw what Tristan, Scarlet and Gabriel went through. How much Tristan loved Scarlet. Loved the ending. loves of action. and it was also funny at times!. Loved also the different pov.

Incredible!!!! I have loved this entire series. While I so sad to see it coming to a close; I am completely thrilled with how everything has turned out. The presentation of these stories are perfect. As I had explained in the previous book's review the presentationof pov's is talented and varies according the effectiveness of the stories. While Awry was most effectively previewed through alternating scenes past and present. Avow was completely different, and was best presented by sections. The start of book three was present only to fall into the majority of the book being the past working it way right up to her last death, and everything that she learned. The last portion of this book was present, and the major battle that will conclude this entire series. I am absolutely loved every minute of this adventure, and I can not wait to read more from the wonderful and amazing author. It was so wonderful to finally see the Happy Ever After in this book. While there are only three books this story spans six lifetimes. The volume of information to grasp in these stories. I believe this allows me to more easily accept the end, and I feel satisfied and content with it's conclusion. This is am awesome series, and a BOOKWHISPERER FAVORITE!! ~BookWhisperer Reviewer JO~

Simply Amazing Series!  This finale is bittersweet. I've become so involved with the story and the characters that I don't want the series to end. But I know it must. Just like in the last book, it starts out right where it leaves off. Scarlet now remembers everything about her past lives, and they realize that Gabriel is also missing. The three left: Tristan, Nate, and Scarlet, must find them before it's too late, and they must keep searching for the fountain because roles have been reversed and it's now more crucial than ever that they break the curse. One thing I didn't like about this book (the only thing, really) was how the flashbacks were. It was one after another, with the whole chunk of them in the middle of the book. For me, I'd rather she'd have done the same she did in the second book, where they were spread out almost evenly. I like reading the past and the present back and forth. But I see how it worked out for the whole book. I loved the flashbacks, as always. I loved seeing what happened to each of the brothers after Scarlet died and came back to life each time. It made me see how they came to be in the present, and how they are separate personalities and characters, with depths far greater than you first imagine. It was also nice to see the bonding relationship between the brothers and Nathaniel. Nate is one of my favorite characters. He's so sweet and funny, and when it comes to his friends, he's deeply loyal and caring. I loved everything about this series; the characters, the suspense, the love story, the story-line and plot, the fantastical and paranormal elements. I loved Scarlet; she was a strong main character. I loved the brothers' relationship, because no matter what, a woman should never come between their bond. I was nervous about that, wondering if it would break that special bond. Heather was like the comical relief, and you couldn't help but like her, even if she talked in text-format and said OMG way too much. The suspense had me reading until I didn't want to put the book down because it had my attention from page one. The story-line pulled me in until I was so wrapped up in the story that I couldn't imagine it ever ending. I didn't want it to. How am I supposed to go on reading other books when Tristan has forever ruined other boys in novels for me? :) Even though I hate to pick sides in a love triangle, I was pulling for Tristan, also wanting Gabriel to find love. So glad my unfairly high expectations of how the story was going to end were not disappointed. As for an ending to the series? It was fantastic, simply amazing, although it made me cry because of what happened to one of the characters (no spoiler!) It made me smile; it made me laugh. It made me sad because I didn't want the story to end. Seriously, add these books to your MUST READ list. You'll not be disappointed!
